Cidrerie Bilodeau

Micheline et Benoit Bilodeau

Micheline L'Heureux Bilodeau, her husband Benoît, and Josée and Claude, their beloved children, settled on the farm in 1982. At that time, growing small apple trees is the main activity. The orchard is six acres big and has 3 000 trees producing ten varieties of apple! Most of the production is dedicated to "Pick your own" activities. In 1997, the business innovates by creating the first cider production on Île d'Orléans. The first ciders where sold in 1998, and at the same time, the production of cider vinegar began.

Jellified ice cider. Add a touch of ice cider to your toasts or unrippened cheeses. It's also great on apple based desserts.

A delicious light cider jelly, good for any occasions. Prepare some hors-d'oeuvres by spreading cream-cheese on crackers, and add some cider jelly. It's also delicious with apple slowly cooked in caramel.
